There is another option when Point asks for the corners of the new window. If you click where you want the upper left corner of the window, the lower right corner will default to the lower right corner of the screen. You will probably find that you use this option almost every time you create a new window. In fact, the reason the ``open'' is the left-most item on the top line is so that you can move to the upper left corner of the screen and double click to create a full screen window. The first click selects the ``open'' command and the second click describes a full screen window.
